Front Street, Traverse City, looking west on the 200 Block of East Front Street. In the foreground on the left is the Front Street Hotel, Ole Bostrom was the proprietor. This building, as well as most of the buildings on the south side of the 200 Block of East Front Street, were totally consumed in a fire that took place on the night of November 11, 1896. This may be a photograph of a Fourth of July celebration in 1896.
