Collection of materials collected from the Nelson Room drawers in the Nelson Room at the Traverse Area District Library, Main Library. The collection is organized to retain the original order of the drawers , the original boxes, and the inventory.

The collection is thematically diverse with materials related to the history of the Grand Traverse Region including: Original material related to Interlochen Arts Camp, Traverse City Municipal Association, Traverse Area Public Schools, National Cherry Festival, Traverse City Ministerial Association, local businesses, St. Francis High School, Traverse City Chamber of Commerce, Maud Miller Hoffmaster, tourism, Traverse City State Hospital, and World War II.
