Sally Norman donated this collection of 69 still images for inclusion in the Traverse Area District Libraries' digital repository; Norman retains the originals. Subjects in the photographs are mostly the Tremain and Stinson families of Kingsley, Michigan. Norman herself was a long-time resident of Kingsley, Michigan, and her family were prominent community members. She is the granddaughter of Bernice Stinson Tremain, a life-time resident of Kingsley and member of the Woman's Civic Club. Bernice Stinson served as the first librarian of the Kingsley Public Library, a service provided to the community by the Woman's Civic Club.
